Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

North facing. Looks like a miniature slashface boulder. Faces the trail when you walk up from the main parking area.

Getting There

If you take the wash from the parking turn outs, this boulder is facing the wash. Head west from the road. about 3.1 miles from the main turn off onto GTR. Turn out is on the right side of the road. The wash trail starts near the back side of the Getaway and runs all the way to the slashface boulder. Which will lead you to all boulders along the way.
