Description

The Front Wall does not offer much easier climbing than Wrath Wall, and the rock quality here is not quite as good as what can be found at Wrath. Nevertheless, there are several good routes in the 5.12 and 5.13 range including some fun "warm ups". Be careful to inspect the bolts before any climbing here. Many of the bolts and hangars are old, rusted, and need replacement.

Getting There

From the main approach trail keep going straight until you cross an old iron bridge. Once you do the trail should change into a paved road. Walk down this road and look to your left to see the cliffline. Eventually you'll see a trail heading up to the left which should deposit you under a huge, steep roof with some impossible looking climbing on choss. "Desert Shield" and most of the other good lines are off to your left.
