Description Suggest change

South facing area with a ridge blocking north winds, this pinnacle stands near the ridge wall up on a hump of loose cap rock material as well as petrified wood. The main tower is the Henrieville Formation and not that bad as choss goes, especially in the upper reaches. The cap rock is a solid conglomerate from the Dakota Formation.

Getting There Suggest change

Park off the north side of the road near the power lines. Hike across the wash in generally NE direction. The lighting can obscure the tower so a pair of binoculars might pin point it faster and straiten your walk. Vehicle to climb about 20 minutes.
