Description Suggest change

This crag was climbed regularly in the past, as evidenced by the old Southwestern Mountaineers topo (see photos), and it looks awesome from a distance. Until February 2018, there were no reports of climbing here for decades. The rock quality is generally excellent and acceptably clean on the established routes.

Getting There Suggest change

Don't be fooled by the name - False Tooth is not close to THE Tooth, nor will taking the Tooth approach trail get you there. Take the approach for Wholt's Welt Wall, but veer left/NE toward False Tooth once feasible.
