Description

The Manali nature preserve (aka Nehru Park) houses a couple dozen or so boulder problems. The preserve itself is a pretty walk and the more scenic way to get to Old Manali from Manali. There's a fee to enter the preserve (Rs 10 or 20, I think, which is about 0.25 USD), and the money seems to be used well (unlike most fees in India) to keep the place clean and at least somewhat free of trash.

Getting There

From the Manali town square take the road up to Old Manali (ask anyone for directions). The nature preserve south entrance is a couple minutes up this road, on the right. There's another entrance/exit farther up the road to the north, and closer to Old Manali. See map for south entrance
