Description

Cueva a un lado de la carretera (Cave on the side of the road) sobresaliendo como roca! Also known locally as Corral de la Marrana/las chivas. Lots of sun during the late afternoon / early evening. Steep overhang, with a variety or sport route difficulty ranging from easy to difficult, that is very accessible from the main road headed north out of the small community of La Ciénega de González, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Area partially developed by Joe Bert Guadarrama. Route descriptions and updates will be added soon. Lots of other projects currently in the works! Presently, as of Jan 2018, about twenty routes are bolted ranging from 5.9 - 5.13+. Easier warm-up lines are on the left side of exposure and head up a slab towards the upper, steeper face.

Getting There

Steep overhang, with a variety or sport route difficulty range, that is very accessible from the main road 20, headed north out of the small community of La Ciénega de González, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Drive north past the Three bridges then continue to the forth bridge and park. Access and parking vary depending on the season and water conditions. Look to the right, east side of the road, and walk on the creek bed of gravel to pick out your route.
