Fort Harihar is a very famous trekking destination. The only known climbing route is a famous wide crack route named after the British mountaineer Doug Scott. It is called Scottish Cliff. Doug Scott first climbed this route in Nov 1986.

Getting There [Suggest Change]

Base village is Nirgudpada (19.897883, 73.453828). Where you can park the car. There are buses and taxis available from Nashik or Trimbakeshwar. From here, one hour hike takes you to the stairs leading to Harihar fort. There's a trail going down towards right below the start of stairs carved in rock. There's a descent camping place on the trail. 10 mins walk on this trail will lead you to the start of the climb.
