Description

The Spot has the best concentration and diversity of climbing at Pinnacle Ridge. Crack lines, testy face climbing, pumpy overhangs, and dark chimneys are found here!

Getting There

From the campsite, cross the small stream on foot and hike one mile along the logging road. When you see a flat rock in the path, angle right uphill to the ridge. Before the overlook, cross a large fallen tree, then take the steep switchbacks downhill. At the end of the switchbacks, cut left and up to the base of the slabs. Traverse the base of the slabs to a large fallen tree. Walk the trunk, then over a few other logs to reach the final descent to the Spot. The first vertical face with “Slip and Slide” will be on your left. The approach is 35-45 minutes.
