Description

A single granite boulder with topouts ranging from around 7 to 12 feet. The climbs on it are not particularly aesthetic or bold, but they do make for some interesting puzzles. If you are climbing alone, this area is a decent choice, as the landings are easily protected with a single pad.

Getting There

About 20 yards uphill from the Try Again boulder. If you are approaching from Ship's Prow, look up and to the left and you should see it.

Ryan, this boulder has been climbed on for many years. In Tim Kemple's "New England Bouldering" guidebook it is called the "Satellite." In an upcoming GunksApp guidebook it will be called Upper Try Again. Please leave your info and photos as it is very useful, but I will be updating the names of these problems. Thanks.. Dec 18, 2017

My guidebook is at home, so I will update the problem names later today or tomorrow. Thanks. Dec 18, 2017
The descriptions in Tim's Book do not always make a pile of sense with regard to this boulder. I am happy to get good descriptions to help make the Gunks App as accurate as possible.

Ryan, its great to see you climbing on all the off the beaten path boulders in the woods. Do not be discouraged that most everything has been climbed before. Go out and have your own adventures with your friends. Dec 19, 2017
