Description

The Arch is a super obvious and awesome feature sticking up from the otherwise flat beach of Pukerua. It offers a few bouldering options, though I did see a couple of bolts on the Arch as well.

Getting There

Park at the end of the Ocean Parade via Pukerua Beach Road. Walk along the beach to the arch that you can see from just beyond the car park

Locals described it as 'Hard Bouldering' but we spent no time on this rock so I can't speak to that. At least one line appeared to have nice juggy holds and looked like a lot of fun. No idea where to find beta unfortunately, look for a guide book for Wellington Area Dec 7, 2017
