Description
With three different sectors offering a variety of climbing styles from steeper, seaside huecoed red/brown limestone to bullet gray slab routes, Neraki is likely the area's best and most popular sector. Neraki is made up of three different sectors--Palamidi, Main and Mythology.
Getting There
The parking area is at the spacious parking lot of Arvanita Beach. To reach the parking area, drive through town towards the boardwalk parking and head south aiming for the gap/saddle between the two major hills with castles on them. Drive up a short paved road hill to the large parking area. It's best to input the GPS coordinates in your favorite navigation app/device: 37.563434, 22.800084.
From the parking area, walk south on the wide, easy, well-used path along the coast. At about 10 minutes of hiking you'll see the Palamidi sector on your left. There are only a few routes here but loads of potential.
From Palamidi, keep walking for another 5 to 7 minutes to the obvious main wall that sits right above a tiny but nice beach.
For sector Mythology, keep walking along the path for another couple minutes.
