Description

The Evolution Boulder is the biggest boulder between the parking lot and the pond. It contains some of the best middle-grade problems in the area and a warm-up on the backside. This warm-up also serves as the down climb for all problems. The most obvious line is known as Evolution Face, which climbs up the main face of the boulder. If you go to the side, you will find an awesome line called Kneelock, named for the spot between the lower boulder and the upper boulder that you can lock your knees into. This doesn't make the problem much easier, though.

Getting There

From the parking lot, take the trail until you reach a sign talking about the evolution of a landscape. This boulder is directly behind this sign. You can't miss it.
