Description Suggest change

Four tower ridge line of easy to moderate climbing that makes for an enjoyable day on Pilatus! Each tower is 2-3 pitches, can usually be done in 1 with a long rope and good rope management. Typically it takes 3-5 hours of climbing to get across the ridges. Access possible by an approach trail, or by climbing up the Mittalplatte at the base.

Getting There Suggest change

Expect a 45-60 minute hike from Aemsigen or Pilatus Kulm stops on the cog-wheel train. Cross the train tracks, then move to the base of the Mittalplatte. Either climb one of the routes to the base, or hike up the trail across the base.
