Description

Winter climbing spot. some good bouldering routes directly on the beach, but those are tide dependent. Several granitic cliffs to climb on walkable paths, or class 4/5 bouldery terrain, located betweeen beach coves. several routes have ancient bolts that rusted out, but there are many more routes that are freshly bolted and well maintained by the local climbing community.

Getting There

La Punta just to the east of downtown Puerto Escondido has the largest concentration of rock, accessible by beach access. Mirador Sueno Posible is has stairs down to a walking path at the bottom of a cliff, where there are numerous bolted routes.
