Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionThis beautiful, south-facing sport wall in the San Luis Valley features stout, sustained routes that are ~80 feet long.
The wall is quite overhung, which means the rock stays nice and dry even after rains.
It is not the best place for beginners; the "warm-up" is a 10d/11a.
Many of these routes can be linked up to create fun variations.
Getting There4x4 high clearance is recommended (especially after rain; the dirt road can get quite muddy and you don't want to get stuck out here).
From County Road 15, turn north onto FS 665. The 665 is unmarked and the turn will sneak up on you. If coming from the east, look for the left turn after a stop sign on your left.
Drive 3 miles, and veer left to stay on FS 665. Drive another 2.5 miles on the road, and the wall will be on your right.
