Aboland Rock Climbing

Drive from the west through the cut with zipline at Cheile Rasnov, as the road changes to the northeast you will see picnic structures (roofs) and a stream on the right. Park here where you see the meadow leading up to Aboland. Use the photo to figure out how it looks here, it can be confusing if you keep driving because there is plenty more cliffs to the northeast which are a longer walk and not correct. Sometimes the path is obvious up to Aboland, sometimes it is grown over with grass. Go up the right side of the meadow through the grass until it constricts and a real trail forms. A more obvious path is visible from the road on the left side of the meadow, but this is used mainly by picnic people who gather wood and the path disappears in the woods. If you end up there you will have to bushwhack straight up to the cliffs and then make a right until you connect with more beaten paths.
