Description Suggest change

This is the main granite outcrop at Hay Tor and although its peak sits higher than Low Man, it's walls are in fact shorter.

Climbing is on the steep North and West faces, although the North face can get quite overgrown with moss. On the SE side you'll find the tourist steps carved into the rock which offer an easy descent.

Expect tourist onlookers to watch you as you climb.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the Haytor parking lot or the nearby visitors centre (which has flush toilets and a bathroom sink where we filled our water bottles) and walk up the steep hill to reach the base of High Man. Less than 10 min approach.
