Firework Boulder

Description

This is a small boulder with one obvious traverse on it in the northern half of the Rock Garden. The rock quality along the lip is incredibly good.

Getting There

Head north/straight from the parking area. The boulder will be on the right side of the trail. Reference the map for the exact location.

[Hide Comment] The map location is wrong for this one. It’s not as far down the path from the parking lot as the current pin suggests. The correct coordinates are 38.9423974,-108.4834108 (N and W). Best landmark for finding it is the enormous round rock at the base of the cliff up the hill behind this problem (visible in the background of the picture). The traverse problem is on the face that’s visible from the trail. Sep 29, 2020
