Description
Across the Rountree Branch (north) from the 'rock behind the rugby field', there's a park with basketball courts. East of the basketball courts there's a short S-facing sandstone boulder that has alright rock quality for Platteville. Easy approach but it can be a little brushy near the boulder.
Getting There
From the Pioneer Student Center (Markee) head west on Greenwood Ave and take your last left downhill to Memorial Park. If you reach the wastewater treatment plant at the end of Greenwood, you've gone too far. As you're heading downhill; look left for basketball courts, park benches, and a picnic shelter east of the courts. Nearly due east of the shelter is the Treesus boulder, on the south slope of the nearby bluff.
