Legend has it that over 200 Shona warriors were taken by the mountain during the Shona / Matebele revolutions, never to return.

Getting There Suggest change

the kopje stands 400m of rock on slightly smaller pedestal and can be seen on approach about 20km past Mutoko on the main Harare - Nyamapanda road.
The turn off at Sutskwe town, 36km past Mutoko, follow dirt road as far as possible.
