Description
Some of The Butte's easiest and best warmups are on this face, along with a few of its hardest climbs as well.
Getting There
See the Gold Butte main area page for directions on how to get here or you can go to:
http://www.utemountaineer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/climbing-guide-text-06-24-14.pdf.
If approaching from the Rio Grande trail, keep right of the ridge, and you'll come up immediately below the East Face. When approaching from the Sunnyside Trail parking lot, this is the first face you will see as you crest the approach trail.
