The dirt access road to Table Rock is closed until further notice. Please do not park and hike the dirt road access road, which crosses private land. Local police are enforcing the signed no parking along Table Rock road near the locked gate. The Idaho State Historical Society that manages public land on Table Rock has requested that all users access Table Rock using marked public trails. Suggested access would be any of the trails starting from Quarry View Park (Old Penitentiary Road), or use public parking along Warm Springs Ave near the golf course and hike the Tram Trail #14.

Description

This area has a large amount of top rope and trad potential with routes ranging from 5.5 to 5.13b. Mostly crack climbing with many fun and interesting lines on sandstone of varying quality. There are even a few bolted lines, as well as a number of good boulder problems. Infrequently climbed routes are often dirty, so bring a brush. Please note that due to the rock quality some bolts may be missing or in bad shape. Be careful!

Getting There

On the south side of Table Rock Mesa. Climbers right of the 'Propeller Area'. Park in the main lot, and either follow the table rock quarry trail, or walk across the mesa to a point west of Propeller where you can walk down.
