Description Suggest change

This area is an open book. Numerous outcroppings exist with a range of routes waiting to be discovered. The rock appears to consist of a conglomerate. Be aware if trad lead climbing. I am not a trad climber yet, but based on my knowledge potential routes I see have only decent rock quality and protection. Also check holds before committing; it is an undeveloped area and rotten rock will be a concern. I see trad, Bouldering, and top rope available to varying degrees of difficulty. Wildlife and cultural/historical sites may also be a concern as petrographs and badger have been seen at these locations.

Other undeveloped yet potential climbing exists adjacent to the park along the Victory Ranch (VR) trail near the turn off and along the Provo River near the Rock Cliff Rec. turnoff.

Getting There Suggest change

From Salt Lake: Take Interstate 80 east to US 40, to State Road 32 east, then take the Rock Cliff Exit.

From Provo: Take US 189 to US 40, to State Road 32, then take the Rockcliff Exit.
