Description [Suggest Change]
These climbs are the first routes you will encounter on this north-facing wall. They consist of mostly Trad single pitch and are accessed easily as they parallel the approach Trail to the Sunnyside. Many of these routes have stainless steel fixed anchors at the top and are accessed by plugging cams and nuts into surprisingly good quality pockets of Rock.
Getting There [Suggest Change]
From the parking lot follow a paved trail beyond the viewing platform and around the lake to a rushing stream that is fed by waterfalls coming out of the main glacier. Walk up the streambed a couple hundred yards until you encounter a tyrolean Traverse. Cross the stream then head back down hill and around the buttress to a trail that dives into the woods were too small streams converge in the brush. This all maintained Trail will bring you along a ramp located on the back side of the main large Rock buttress located below below the Worthington glacier. This Trail has seen considerable work during the fall of 2016 and is a much more enjoyable experience then in the past.
