Description
The West Wall is a wide, shorter tier of rock to the left (west) of the central, main part of the Great Wall. At first glance it doesn't look all that appealing but as with so many of the crags on the islands once you get on the rock the climbing proves to be very high quality.
Getting There
Follow the access description for the Great Wall to the base of Silk Road. Keep hiking up the forested draw (ramp) to the left (west) until it levels out onto a bench. At the first, large leaning Douglas fir tree locate a short path that leads up to a pretty, grassy meadow running along the base of the wall.
