Description
Lower Education Ridge is the center of the three ridges forming the Gully of Higher Education Area. All currently reported routes are near the bottom of the ridge, on its western side, and can be spotted from the road fairly readily. (If using the published guidebooks, note that the Ruckmans (1998) call both Lower Education Ridge and Higher Education Ridge simply the “Gully of Higher Education” and report only McKinley’s Crack; and Calderone (2017) calls Lower Education Ridge “McKinley’s Ridge.”)
