Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionFamily friendly and as quick as 10 second approach from parking combined with stellar views of the Upper Danube Valley make this an all round great crag to hit. Topping that, it's a 10-15min drive down the road from Hausen im Tal and Stuhlfels which gets the majority of the climbing traffic. So if you're here on a weekend and want to avoid the crowds in the area (mostly), definitely come here.
Getting ThereFrom Sigmaringen, head towarsd Inzigkofen on the 313 and about 700 meters or so after the seemingly non-functional Bahnhof, there's a large designated parking area on the right hand side (with signs alerting you to it about 200m in advance).
Pull off there and park as near to the other end as you can where the crag is. That's Aussichtsfels. If it's a quiet day, you can literally park at the base and walk to the rock in 30 seconds. Worst case you're walking 1 minute.
Coming from Hausen im Tal, it's a ~10-15minute drive eastwards. The parking is easy to miss but if you do, you'll see the old Inzkofen train station on your right where you can turn around and head back.
Zoom into the location on google maps, it's perfectly set to the base of the climb.
