This cliffs is under the liability insurance of the Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l'Escalade (FQME).
Residents of Canada need to have:
-FQME 'Accès Montagne' membership (55$)
-For members of the Alpine Club of Canada an FQME 'Accès Montagne' upgrade (30$)
Or purchasing a 10$ day pass.
This money is used to pay the liability insurance for landowners regardless if they are private citizens, municipal or provincial.
The maintenance of cliffs and their access, replacing of fixed protection.

Description
La paroi Proximus, comme son nom l’indique, est à proximité de la route 131. Il s’agit d’une sympathique petite paroi qui fait entre 10 et 20 mètres et qui est orienté à l’Est, et donc est très ensoleillé! Bien qu’on y grimpe depuis plusieurs années, il y a eu beaucoup de développement depuis deux ou trois saisons et la sélection de voies est beaucoup plus intéressante. Facile d’accès et plutôt sécuritaire pour les enfants (bien qu’il peut y avoir d’occasionnelles chutes de roches), mais peut être très chaud l’été. Peut être un bon endroit pour éviter les foules au Tranchant la fin de semaine. Proximus fait partie du réseau accès montagne de la FQME. Il faut donc être membre de la FQME pour y grimper.
La liste des voies n'est pas nécessairement complète, mais ça devrait être assez pour vous orienter.
Proximus is a nice little crag with no approach and a good diversity of routes between 10 and 20 meters. It gets a lot of sun during the day so it can get hot there in the middle of summer. It can be a good spot if you're trying to avoid the Tranchant crowds during the weekend.

Getting There
Le stationnement est à droite, à environ 5 KM passé le village de Sainte-Émélie-de-l’Énergie sur la route 131. Le chemin le plus direct est la 40 Est, 31 Nord, 131 Nord. Vous pouvez également passer par la 347 pour vous rendre à la 131. La paroi est visible du stationnement.
