Description

A small and compact granite crag that is taller than it looks from the road (about 45m tall). The approach is moderate to long, but the rock quality is great and you will find solitude and thoughtful climbing in a beautiful location. Located just outside of the Domelands wilderness this may be a fun option if you are like us and arrive at a locked gate in the early season. Heading up Sherman Pass road you will see it on your left hand side, the arete may be highly visible due to shadows in the morning, and if not the "bunny ear boulders" on the hillside just above it should be obvious enough.

Getting There

This area is accessed via Sherman Pass, just before the gated turn off to Domelands. The formation is visible from the road - we bushwhacked straight to it from a pull-out which was a long slog, but it looks like there is an OHV road/trail further down the road that can be used to access it relatively painlessly.
