Moonshiner Wall

Tennessee > Denny Cove > Denny West
Warning Access Issue: Daily online climbing registration required for TN State Park areas DetailsDrop down

Description

This is the furthest wall in Denny's West. Great beginner climbs on solid rock that gets sun in the late morning but would see shade later.

Getting There

About a 20 minute walk from the parking lot, take a hard right after the sign that says "1 mile to water fall/towards buffet wall" and follow the trail until a tombstone rock where the wall starts to decrease.

Not sure the name of this route or the rating it's a newly bolted line just past the moonshine wall the first of two in this Rather new area. Would probably be 5.10 range. Fun little line with some weird moves and tricky mantle over small roof.

[Hide Comment] If you keep walking past Moonshiner Wall there along the cliff line there are two bolted routes that aren't on Mountain Project or in the guidebook. Does anyone have any information on these two climbs? May 11, 2021
