Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Description

A short boulder with two burly lines on it. The trail runs right through the landing zone, so climbing this on crowded weekends is inadvisable.

Getting There

If approaching from Sunset, the Gatekeeper is just after the Guardian boulder on the left side of the trail. If approaching from the south, the Gatekeeper is after the Blackout boulder on the right.
