Description
This crag is not a slab, it’s a nice steep face that gets morning shade. All four routes are fun, especially the easy-moderate, Charismatic Megafauna, with its fun stemming and layback in a dihedral -- way too short.
Note that the names of the four climbs were not added by the route developers. The folks who added them to Mountain Project gave these fine lines tentative names and requested the first ascensionismts to claim them and give them their proper names.
Getting There
Approach 1: A direct route up the blocky talus, initially the obvious one as it is just a few steps up the trail from the South Face. The loose talus is an ankle breaker waiting to happen. It’s dreadful so be careful and take is slow.
Approach 2: Continue upstream 50 yds. Just before the creek crossing bear right up well-used and obvious deer trail to top of stream cut. Switchback hard to the right and traverse the slope back downstream on faint game trails ascending a little to a rocky rib. Climb a few feet more and then traverse around through some limestone ledges to base of wall. Longer in distance but probably not time. And way less dangerous.
