Description

Sunny south facing cliff. Rock is generally good by Rockies standards. Multiple routes on the cliff, from modern sport, olds trad routes that have had bolts added and old routes that are possibly in their original state.

Getting There

From the cattle gate at the highway turnoff, drive approx. 1.1km north on RR 1158. Just before the road starts to turn left there will be a large drainage on the left, park in a small dirt pullout on the right (east) side.
Head up the drainage, when the walking gets tougher look for a cairn on the right at the edge of the trees marking a trail. Follow this trail on the edge of the drainage and in the trees to where it exits the trees. Walk up the drainage for a short distance looking for a trail on the right that will lead you up hill through the trees. The trail will bring you to the base of the cliff and this is the start for the route Valleyview. Early season the drainage will have vast amounts of Avalanche debris and should be a consideration.
