Description
The bouldering at Herb Lake is on good quality lime stone below the cliff band. The routes and movements are good, the landings are not ideal. Tetanus is the stand-out, best problem here, so if you end up at Herb Lake Landing make sure to check that one out.
Boulder Groupings:
Fern Area: Pinchin' Pennies, Change is Everything, Fern Seeds. The first area you will find when hiking up from the unused property.
Tetanus Area: Tetanus and Winkler Dyno. Up the hill from the Fern Area, right at the base of the cliffs.
Chain of Command Area: Chain of Command. Somewhere between the Fern area and the Ted Taylor and Snowball hiking trail.

Getting There
Park in the pull-out at the Gathering Place picnic area. Walk down the road until you get to the first property on the right. Cut uphill into the bush just behind the abandoned looking sheds. You should be able to see Pinchin' Pennies from here. Continue uphill, left or right to find more boulders.
