DescriptionThis is one of the most accessible crags on Quadra Island with good hangouts and a nice variety of moderate climbs it is justly one of the most popular crags too.
Getting ThereThe access to Manzanita Wall is via the first spur path on the Beech's Mountain hiking trail. From the Chinese Mountains parking area head left (west) on the Beech's Mountain trail. After just ~150m an obvious, well-worn path heads uphill through the forest and out onto an open mossy bluff. The Great Wall can be seen high above the trees.
Cross the meadow and continue traversing, leaving the tread that continues uphill toward Leaning Tree Edge & the Great Wall, into a clump of trees. Follow the tread through the trees and then up a steep ramp and a rising leftward traverse to the base of the crag.
There is a higher ledge system that links to the meadow, Leaning Tree and the top anchors too.
