Description

Limestone slabby walls on either side of the road as you enter the Clarks Fork Canyon. A variety of rock quality based on the angle. The lower angle stuff is generally pretty clean, the steeper stuff looks crumbly but you never know...

Getting There

Drive on Hwy 120 north of Cody, Wyoming about 10 miles South of the Montana line is Edelweiss, a bar/restaurant/campground. Turn left here and head West toward Clark, veer left after several miles, the road leads into the canyon. Rock shoots out of the ground on either side as you enter the canyon.

this Valley Boys route was as fun as a barre of monkeys. gotta beware when pulling the ropes on the lower 2 stations, easy to hang up in the junipers. probably not a good route for aspiring 5.5 leaders. its often run out. schuper fun tho. rack from .3 to #3 camalot seems sufficient and several long slings and 4 QD's.
