Description
This is the best of the three Picnic walls. It is the steepest (just past vertical) wall, the cleanest wall and the best climbing (IMHO) in all of Section 18.
A 50 foot high, by 150 wide wall that is dry and clean, something not usually found in the UP. Perfect crimps and face holds and a complete lack of cracks make this an extremely fun sport climbing zone.

Getting There
To get to Picnic Wall Left, walk past Picnic wall right from the normal approach trail from the Powerlines. Follow the powerlines to the bottom of the hill, turn right and walk the road cut. Turn right again and walk through the small gravel pit. Once through the pit, walk the game trail to the wall following a few yellow utilities flags posted in trees.
