Description

The woods that lies to the north of Birch Pond has a few boulders scattered around. The rock type is different in this area. It appears to be a granite with large, purple quartzite pockets in places giving the rock a purple look to it. Most of the boulders and crags are small but interesting.

Getting There

The best access is from the Pennybrook entrance. Head in, and trend left. Refer to Caltopo map for boulder locations.
