DescriptionThese popular walls lie off of Wolf Creek, a tributary to Little River, and does not face the main canyon.
Though these two walls abut each other, they are very different in character. Jungle Gym is made up of textbook steep Little River climbing, where sequenced crimping between large flat edges is common. By contrast, the Gray Wall is tall, slightly overhung, and values technique over raw power.
Getting ThereFrom the canyon entrance at AL-35, drive 4.7. Near Mile Marker 21 you will see a small, gravel parking area on the left side of the road.
PLEASE NOTE: the Jungle Gym/Gray Wall parking area is meant to accommodate four cars. If this lot is full, please drive back up to the Canyon View parking area instead of parking on the grass.
From the parking area, walk back down the canyon until you see a perpendicular white line on the side of the road that marks the trailhead. Follow this well marked trail for a few hundred and you will arrive at the first Jungle Gym routes.
