Description

Most easily accessed by walking down through the woods from near Trail Magic, I've always considered this to be "middle"; i.e. higher than the lower ledges and lower than the upper ledges/slab. In actuality, I believe it is the far left extension of the lower ledges.

From the base of what I've called "First Crack" one can move left and find other potential climbs.

Getting There

From near the area of Trail Magic (see photo) walk left through the woods about 75 yds on about a 30 degree angle to the AT. You may spot a cairn or three.

Look for an opening, above which is a solid maple tree (5-6" diameter in mid-1990's). A ledge 4-5 ft below and a single bolt on a slab. Rap off the tree down the face (75 ft)
