Description

This is the obvious lower west facing wall that rises from the eastern edge of the county (Gavins) gravel pit. It looks dirty (it is) and crumbly (it isn't), but it has a nice and clean steep middle section and some attractive slabby faces at the south end (attractive to the Mtn sheep at least).

It is at the far northern end of the Lower SW face of Hull area, and is the only area at Hull where the parking is on public property, and thus is probably the best place to start when accessing the rest of Hull (the only other alternative is to ask permission for access directly from the land owners along the valley floor).

Getting There

Turn off of Hwy 97, and park at the county gravel pit which is on the west side of Hull about 1/2 mile south of the turn-off to Whistler Canyon Trailhead.
