Narragansett

Rhode Island

Description

Several small bouldering and toprope areas around the ocean in Narragansett. In the winter these boulders offer killer friction and in the summer, since they sit jus on water, and give you a solid breeze. An excellent spot to hang around after a day at the beach, all of these boulders have very short approaches and excellent views.

Getting There

All the bouldering is situated along Route 1 South, mostly between Narragansett Town Beach and Scarborough state beach. See sub-areas for directions to the individual crags.

[Hide Comment] You have Pettaquamscutt Rock in Narragansett. It is actually in South Kingstown. Not that it really matters, I just thought I'd point that out. Aug 11, 2021

[Hide Comment] I just recommended it be clustered with the rest of the Narragansett climbing as it all really sits along (or just off of) Rt.1A/Ocean Rd, but good point, thanks Brian! Aug 11, 2021
