Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionA nice bit of limestone sport climbing located near Page, AZ exists 35 minutes north off Highway 89. Locate the parking area, and walk up the right side of the canyon about 100 yards on a small cattle/foot path. Locate the first developed route in the area, a 5.9 hand crack that finishes with a bolt after a small roof. Roughly 18 bolted routes from 5.7 to 5.12+ exist in Buckskin Wash. All are on the right side of the canyon.
My favorite by far is a 5.9/+ that climbs up a scoop feature with huecos and cobbles right above a nice fire pit.
Getting ThereCoordinates to parking(37.072892, -112.003196)
Coming in from the north, follow house rock valley road for approximately 4 miles until you get to a cattle guard just before the parking to Buckskin Gulch. Cross the cattle guard and take a right immediately. Go down this road 50 yards and park. The routes are located on the right side of the canyon about a 5 mile walk in.
