Description
This area doesn't see as much climbing. The area is easily identified for its wide bowl in the cliff band where the ground is black glacial scree, versus the surrounding fields of grassland.
There are some unnamed routes scattered about with anchors at the top for TR'ing. Rock in the bowl looked pretty low quality.
The exception is the tall, narrow tower at the SW end. It's beautiful and has a 5.10d trad route. Apparently eagles nested there regularly, until the mid 1900s when the farmers got rid of them due to losing some lambs.
