Access Issue: Regarding Local Ethics Details

If you use chalk on the rock, brush it off when you are done. If you use tick marks, brush them off when you are done. Wipe your feet off prior to each climbing attempt. Excess chalk and any dirt, leaves, or mud can polish holds over time. Do not drag your pad from one climb to the next (in order to minimize erosion). And most importantly, Leave No Trace. Pick up your trash and place it in the trash cans at the trail head.

Description

This area offers a handful of moderate problems including it's namesake, the classic "Knife Fink". It also includes the Hemlock Grove which is just behind the Knife Fink Boulder and the Picnic Block which is a little ways to the left.

Getting There

Follow the normal Upper Rock City approach down Rattlesnake Trail. Take the first trail to the right after you walk down the stone steps. Follow the trail past Colorful Corner and the Romulus & Remus area and you will see the Knife Fink boulder.
