Description

This is a beautiful location about thirty minutes west of Girne. You park in a grove of ancient olive trees and there is an old monastery below the crag. Mustafa Konca has been actively bolting new lines in this area. Most of them are easy to moderate routes with only two in the 5.11+ range. One of which is a beautiful off-width that Mustafa equipped with anchors (if beautiful and off-width can be used in the same sentence). He brought me up here and graciously allowed me to get the first ascent.
There is also a three pitch line that was bolted nearby at a place they are calling the amphitheater. I didn't have time to try it but according to the locals its one of the best lines around. It got put up by Alessandro Beltrami and Mustafa Konca, in 2016. Mustafa swears its awesome, he also said he isn't just saying that because he helped put it in.

Getting There

5min approach once you park the car. Getting to the parking area is another story. I was able to drive all the way in a very compact rental car, with Mustafa dictating the directions. I will have to have Mustafa or someone else update this getting there section. I can locate it on the map.
