Needle Peak

This is a classic Wyoming bouldering location. Over 300 problems (V0 to V11) and counting. The rock is a well featured gneiss and the season is long. Awesome place to boulder!

There is a free PDF guide written and hosted by Davin Bagdonas that is available via this link:

This page is to provide free information and get people a taste of the area and guide. Also, a place all of you can add new boulders that I can add to updates of the free guide.

Thanks all and enjoy!

[Hide Comment] The webcam I use to gage whether or not there will be a shit ton of snow or not up at needle peak is:

This past december I got a couple of good days of climbing but the final dirt road you take can be a bit terrifying in a 2wd honda. In February it looked like there were tons of good days for climbing, just not during the weekend.

Another aside is there are people who actively trap on Needle Peak. One guy was nice enough to let me know where his traps were (mostly on the S side of the needle peak area, near area "W" in the guidebook). So I just kept my dog leashed while I was there. Both times I was there in December we didn't encounter any traps or anything in areas F to O to T. Mar 4, 2017
