Main Wall
Tennessee
> Bays Mountain
Description
About 45 ft tall but the base rises gently decreasing the height as you move climber's right. Wide horizontal crack about 30 ft up (this becomes the ledge on Open Book). Generally shady but is warm on fall and winter afternoons. Two sets of bolts accessible from the top of the cliff (Sunset and Open Book) and one bolted sport climb (Mr. Clean). Other options exist by anchoring off of trees at the top of the cliff. If you choose to do this, bring long webbing or static line.
Getting There
This is the wall immediately at the base of the switchbacking climber's trail below the overlook. It's on your left as you reach the base of the trail.
