Top-Roping: Currently not known if it is possible to access the top of this wall without climbing one of its routes.
Name: The June Lake Loop has long been recognized as a little visit to Switzerland. "Sébastien" is a quartzite crag in the canton of Valais / Wallis, in the Rhone river valley in the southwest corner of Switzerland.
Pronounce sector "Sébastien" (using the French language of western Switzerland) - can try something like ... say-bah-styehng.
. (or just say it like in English).
warning: The rock in this sector has not been climbed much yet, and some of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber.
Getting ThereHiking approach: First follow the instructions on the Silver Lake area description page to reach sectors 3-6. Hike up left passing left under gully coming down from the left side of the mini-peak "la Dent d'Argentine" (at the top of sector 8) and continue a short ways left under some broken "scrambling" rock. Then find a way to scramble up diagonal left about ten or twenty feet, then hike up diagonal right to the base of this sector.
