Description
A great addition to the Skaha area, Foreplay is a nice shady cliff till 2pm. It has 25+ Routes from 5.10a to 5.13. This new cliff is outside the park with an easy, casual approach. Numerous routes have some fixed protection as a safety consideration. There are still active projects on the wall, so please respect the route builders and stay off these routes.
Reilly Cliff and Foreplay South have many well protected routes in the 5.8/5.9 range. Foreplay South has easy access for setting up top ropes.

Getting There
At the moment you can still access The Canoe Trail from the powerline access road, but this could change once construction of the new development at the end of Evergreen starts and depending on the behaviour of our climbing community. Please do not enter the new housing development site - we have negotiated alternate accesses with the developer who has donatd 120 acres of land to the provincial park. Respect the new directions below or we may lose access.
Turn east from South Main Street and wind your way up Pineview Road until you are forced to turn right onto Evergreen Drive (about 1.5 km). Follow this for about 500 m until it ends in a cul-de-sac. Please be considerate and don't block driveways when you park, change into your shorts in public, or use neighbourhood lawns as picnic or bike repair sites. (Yes, these thoughtless acts all occurred on the Easter long weekend!)
Go through the yellow gate on the east side of the cul-de-sac and almost immediately turn right onto the powerline access road at a second yellow gate. Continue under the power line trail; Foreplay cliff will be obvious ahead on the left after the power line trail drops down to the old skidded road. Continue straight ahead on the skidded road mid way past Foreplay on your left. Cairns will indicate the obvious trail to the cliff.
There's a second access trail 50 yards past the second yellow gate - drop down left into the gully and follow the obvious trail south. Be wary of poison ivy! After this trail starts to rise for a short distance, look for a trail heading south (right) that leads to Foreplay and the skidded road as previously mentioned.
